Shotgun Wedding

You expect over-the-top silliness going in, but it goes a bit overboard. There are some funny moments, but overall it felt like it didn't know what tone it was going for. There are better silly romcoms out there.

When one watches a movie of this type, it's not uncommon to expect a certain level of absurdity. However, when filmmakers take it to the extreme, the results can be downright ludicrous, ultimately detracting from the entertainment factor. Unfortunately, this movie falls prey to that pitfall, featuring a series of scenes so comically bad that it's painful to watch, particularly one involving a shotgun. One of the best things to come out of COVID beside finding out the nuttcases amongst your peers online is movies like this going straight to streaming for me to dabble in instead of wasting gas to sneak into it after another movie. God awful cast save for one Queen (it's not J Lo)

Not as bad as I thought it was going to be. It is still dumb so I guess having low expectations helped enjoy it more. A bit of a dark comedy too at times so it is a fresh change from the usual romantic comedies.

Fazla beklentiye girilmeden izlenilecek ve izledikten bir müddet sonra unutulacak, bol aksiyonlu bir JLo rom-com'u işte üzerine konuşulacak fazla bir şey yok. JLo'nun "mükemmelliği" tüm filme yayılmamış şükürler olsun. Biraz tahmin edilebilir de olsa ters köşesi, arada Coolidge sağ olsun gülümsemesi falan yeterli. En yakın olduğumuz insanlarla yüzleşirken bazen ağır konuşabileceğimizi ama aslında onları çok sevdiğimizi hatırlattı. Ha bir de, iyi bir plan tek aşamadan oluşmalı(ymış) onu öğrendik.

Jennifer Coolidge fait ce qu'elle peut pour être drôle, les autres sont là pour prendre leur chèque. Et quand les personnages se mettent à chanter, le malaise est immense.

Decent, occasionally bordering on good. A lot of jokes could have landed a lot harder with just little tweaks.

Despite its flaws, "Shotgun Wedding" is a fun addition to the rom-com genre and a good movie to watch with friends. The strong cast and comedic moments outweigh the weak story and predictable plot. It's a perfect movie to turn your brain off and enjoy a few laughs.

Hit and miss. Some scenes were hilarious (mostly the ones with Jennifer Coolidge) and others were dreadful. But the overall quality surprised me, so the score is on the positive side.

It has some funny scenes but those moments certainly doesn't save the movie and I have to say, one of the weirdest casting choices I've ever seen. Except for Jennifer Coolidge, the characters and actors didn't seem to fit together. Unfortunately, Lenny Kravitz was the worst. I really love Lenny's music but his acting was so fucking bad.

Once the action begins, time flies by so fast. I kinda enjoy it!
