Shuumatsu no Valkyrie

The show has issues where it pads out fights way too often with pointless crowd reaction and unnecessary exposition. It's really funny how a character can just do one attack and the narrative feels like it needs to make some elaborate backstory just to sell how powerful it is. But the thing is the show is so outlandish and there's so many wacky twists within any given fight that I was at least enthralled, and the premise is so bombastically stupid it wins me over on that alone.

Record of Ragnarok is an action-packed anime that weaves mythology and epic battles seamlessly. The captivating storyline, character development, and unique concept of gods vs. humans in a tournament create an engaging watch. While the animation may have inconsistencies, the buildup and philosophical themes make it a good watch for action and mythology enthusiasts.
