Silent Madness

Didn't finish it (was watching it at a party but i had to leave lol) and yet i don't feel like I've missed much.

This isn't a good movie but it is a fun Black Christmas knock-off.

Mostly hit the spot for me for an 80s slasher flick - high body count, varied kill methods, a bit of nudity, cool synth/electronic score. Slight twist with the "final girl" being a grown woman in her 30s. There was one cool shot with a fast dolly backwards down a red light-bathed boiler room hallway with the protagonist running toward the camera that reminded me of Alien or something. Still it's ultimately just a dumb generic slasher flick lol, but I like those movies, at least the 80s ones.

The honest truth is that if we're on a bus, I'll take twenty passengers with silent madness over one with loud sanity.

I watched it in a Halloween party and we had a blast. Still not a good movie of course, but a nice, not boring and cheesy horror music experience to see with friends

The first half was pretty alright and I was invested, the second half was a letdown. The twist at the end was lame, but I saw it coming a mile away so I was a bit prepared. Still lame, though. The 3D gimmick really should not have been used here, because nobody involved with production had a clue what to do with it judging by the results. The Elizabeth Kaitan cameo was fun.
