Six of a Kind

Collecting 6 great comedians in one movie. The main couple is Charles Ruggles & Mary Boland as the nice and dumb pair off on their second honeymoon. And you get the headache of George Burns & Gracie Allen and their great big dog along for the ride! Needless to say the honeymoon doesn't become as romantic as they'd hoped. Then they pull up in a small town where Alison Skipworth runs the hotel and W.C. Fields is the sheriff. And that's the remedy for a fun hour which passed by a bit too quickly.

Kind of a proto-Mad Mad Mad Mad (Mad?) World with a bunch of Paramount stars yukking it up. It's not very substantial and the plot kind of weaves in and out, but when it's funny, it's great.
