Umm, somehow the "don't participate in satanic role playing games" message gets twisted into "don't attempt to write movie scripts while under the influence of psychoactive chemicals." Unbelievably weird and dumb but quite hilariously so in places.

I'd heard that this was one of those "evangelicals show you how evil D&D is" movies, but it's... not? Maybe? It's hard to tell because what this movie was going for is entirely opaque. It feels like the final project of a freshman film major who's getting a failing grade, full of moments that don't know what social satire is, nonsense symbolism, and inane gesturings towards psychology and horror. Not to mention that half the time it's impossible to tell what the tone's supposed to be? Baffling.

I challenge anyone to make sense of this movie.
