A fun, zippy Disney comedy with a great cast and a generous amount of clever humor. Could have been much, much worse (Exhibit A: "Zoom" with Tim Allen).

Completely predictable and quite cliche, but I'll be damned if it's not entertaining. Bruce Campbell and a few of the Kids in the Hall make the most of a few brief appearances as "super-teachers", and the movie is just a campy good time. A guilty pleasure for sure, but a pleasure nonetheless.

One of those "fluff" movies that is entertaining while watching but leaves no real impression. Still, it had some creative and fun elements. Good for a very lazy afternoon, but otherwise better things await.

Sky High is a very enjoyable movie about teenage superheroes. While it will feel too familiar for some, it keeps things fresh by adding in superpowers, while also containing enough in-jokes and references for older members of the audience. It's filled with energy and pure fun, and contains positive messages and themes that can always use reinforcement. Sky High is definitely worth seeing.

Enjoyable, sweet natured kiddie superhero movie can’t touch the gold standard of THE INCREDIBLES, but it’s better than many of its imitators, especially when having gentle fun with the tropes of the genre (eg. the PA system). Despite the likable characters and fun performances, this works better during the zippy superhero antics, falling into a bit of a lull in the second to third act turn, which becomes too much tired teenage drama; the action finale leaves the film with a smile on its face.

A colorful and fun movie, Sky High is a great concept. The coming together of so many different young superheroes makes for lots of entertaining scenes. For a family film, it has a lot of fun twists, and it really makes you wish you had super powers too. Really good!

It's exactly the kind of thing one would expect to see from Disney. It's colorful, light, and fun. The message is good and it's an easy movie to sit through.

Harry Potter via Marvel/DC comics when you get down to it. Under the powers its your standard coming of age story and is completely predictable BUT its well done and has a fantastic cast. Kids In The Hall and Bruce Campbell? Fantastic. Hope this franchises as theres a lot of potential, but I dunno if it will.

Remind me what the problem is here. Seriously, this movie may not be great, but the concept is fun, the characters are interesting enough, and honestly, I can't think of a thing actually "bad" about it.

While aimed at a younger teenage audience I can still throughly enjoy this superhero-style Disney film thanks to its creative concept and performances of the young talented cast.

This is typical Disney Live-Action movie fare, although slightly better than others. I enjoyed the film, but kept thinking of it as the superhero version of Harry Potter. Overall, a good family film, but once it hits the Disney Channel, expect Heavy Rotation.

Crap plot, and the central character is really just a stock character. However, the film itself is really fun. Kurt Russell returns to Disney with style in a good part, and Steven Straight is terrific as Warren Peace. To be honest, I'd much rather see a movie about the Peace character.

There was a lot about the esthetic of Sky High that I liked. Some of the camera angles made it look like they wanted this movie to look very much like a comic book. But, like a lot of the over-the-top acting in this movie, the camera work just distracts from a cute story about a boy trying to get out of his parents shadows. I like a lot of the character actors in this movie. Keven Heffernan was especially a nice surprise. The kids were all pretty good, not annoying.

It is silly, likeable, and often infectious, such that it will probably be deemed a good time by almost all that view it. You may not be wiping tears away from laughter, but there's a very good chance that you'll still leave the theater with a smile.

Coming from the same studio as High School Musical, it's no surprise that this film approaches the genre with the same confidence, colour and right-on attitude. These people know how to make engaging family entertainment. The script has enough sass to keep things from getting boring, and in general the casting and performances are very good (apart from the nauseating lead, Angarano). There is eye candy in the actors, sets and costumes, and even if the vfx are ropey, it doesn't spoil a fun time.

An enjoyable Disney film about a high school for superheroes. The teen actors are charming, and it also features enough adult actors to amuse their parents: Kurt Russell, Cloris Leachman, Linda Carter, Bruce Campbell. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon.

I've seen this many times, & each time it actually gets a little bit more satisfying. This most recent viewing, I've realized that it might be my favorite superhero movie ever- which is crazy, but it's true. This is a genuinely great family film that, despite some moments that haven't aged well, holds up better than it has any right to. The cast is excellent & stacked with talent, the premise is awesome, & the ladies get to be just as badass as the dudes. I don't think I'll ever get tired of it.
