There’s so many boobs packed into the front of this you don’t even realize most of the kills are someone being hit with a stick.

The killer is no fun, and the murders, several of which are committed with a tree branch, are unbloody and incredibly lame. The poster is kind of amazing, though, but unfortunately the film turned out to be just as flat, unstructured and boring as the previous one.

Basically Sleepaway Camp 2: The Return. Except it's worse. The deals are, for the most part, quite uncreative usually involving someone being beaten with a log. Plus it's got some horrendous acting where you can tell the actors forgot their lines. Bleech.

Retread of Sleepaway Camp 2, which surprisingly worked as an over the top horror film laced with effective black (sick) humor. There is little of that charm here, though it has one or two clever death scenes.

Sleepaway Camp has never been a stalwart representation of the genre, so it's no surprise that by the third iteration it delves so deeply that it becomes an abysmally horrific abomination better suited for animal testing rather than public viewing. If you ever come across a copy of this movie, destroy it immediately.

Sets up a plot that might have worked if they'd even tried, but then quickly devolves into a bunch of set pieces that mostly feel like scenes that were left out of II. And for good reason, too. That said, there is something about Angela's "work, work, work" attitude that sets her apart from other slasher villains.

Even more of a comedy than part 2 (half the characters are named for the casts of "The Brady Bunch" and _West Side Story_!) but nearly as funny as it wants to be. The murder scenes have clearly been trimmed, but the cast isn't bad (though Pollard is wasted as an early victim). And we've got to do something about these inconclusive, open endings.

Like II, only stupider.

While the first was no masterpiece & the second is definitely an acquired taste, this is just bad. Terrible characters, terrible writing, a terribly paper-thin plot, & a lot of bad acting- plus, the poster is shit. I just need to mention that. Besides Springsteen's fun performance & a few decent one-liners buried in a ton of awful ones, there's nothing enjoyable to see here unless you really like random boobs & are willing to waste 80 minutes to see some. What a dumb end to the original trilogy.

The worst of the series, but has enough camp and nudity to be enjoyable.

This is the only one of the series that I've seen. Soooo ridiculous. Soooo terribly bad. I haven't decided whether or not it's bad in a funny way. Half the time I was laughing the other half I was rolling my eyes. If you like 80s horror cheese this is for you.

Essentially a carbon copy of Sleepaway Camp 2, with some more funny characters and situations...worth watching with the prior installment back to back for a funny night.

Aww, Sweet-Peaaaa! I don't understand how something so tongue-in-cheek from the previous film and the first 5 minutes of this one could turn out so straight-faced awful. None of the deaths were that great, except maybe lawnmower-face.

I wouldn't say it's a Teenage Wasteland, more like almost a waste of time. Sleepaway Camp III was still kind of fun, it just was missing some of the pizzazz of the second film. I did like that most of the movie took place in the woods, in tents. It got them away from the traditional cabin killings. I do think the fact that people were just getting hit with pieces of wood wasn't a very creative way to kill the cast members...

Pretty much exactly the same film as Sleepaway Camp II in every way, one of the most identical sequels I've ever seen. I'm giving it a marginally higher rating because I was slightly charmed/amused by the fact that the film's first topless scene is less than 30 seconds in.

Absolutely rediculous. people start dying in incredibly cheesy ways right away and very quickly. The racial slurs are through the roof. My friends and I had an amazing time watching all but the first. The first is good, but i consider the rest comedic movies to watch with ur friends.

While I like it, it's similar to II but doesn't do as good as II. But I still like it. The characters are still fun, the story is interesting enough, the kills are decent, and the tone still makes this entertaining for me.

It is illegal to watch any of the Sleepaway Camps after Labour Day, so luckily, I was able to escape the possibility of being arrested. Pollard definitely knows what kind of movie this is and acts accordingly.

Released one year after the 2nd film, Springsteen is back as the lead, and so is the director. It follows the same pattern and works fine as a double feature with the previous entry, but it feels like a total rehash. Its biggest fault is that it doesn't really do anything with Angela's character who is quite unique among the slasher villains.
