Sleepy Hollow

Jeffrey Jones in a powdered wig is probably what set police off on "Hey this guy looks like he probably diddles kids let's look into that" OH this movie is good.

Sleepy Hallow undoubtedly has excellent art direction full of creepy grotesque buildings, characters and landscapes. It has a slightly humourous tone which prevents it from being a "edge of your seat" thiller/horror, which I find makes it even more enjoyable. Depp is superb as the brave, but cowardly, Ichabod Crane and Walken as the Headless Horseman was a really nice touch. I have to say, though, Christina Ricci's blond-dyed eyebrows looked bloody weird.

CSI as done by Tim Burton while simultaneously butchering an old American tale. Nice work, sir. Christopher Walken's role is one of the few positives.

Burton really knows how to make visually enchanting movies. Depp is pleasant as usual. Otherwise unremarkable, but entertaining.

Raaaahhhh - Christopher Walken's only dialogue, which is still better than every other line uttered by the rest of the cast.
