Slow Learners

It had its moments. Basically the only thing that makes it better than average is Sarah Burns and Adam Pally, both of whom are incredibly funny people. They fight the script in most scenes and, occasionally, they win. Oh, and during the credits Gil Ozeri has one of the best outtakes I've ever seen.

Yeah it's predictable. Yeah it ends up being pretty shallow. But it was very funny so I don't give a damn. Adam Pally and Sarah Burns are both great.

Fresh humour but a little over-done. Terrible choice of DOP. The lighting was disgusting, much like an early 2000's ABC family sit com.

Two academic nerds decide to change up their boring lives and break out of their shells. They decide to try a radical makeover for the summer. Some of the awkward comedy worked. The love story plot was predictable. Several scenes should have been edited better. The first date interview and some of the artificial conflict was pathetic. However, there were several funny and humorous scenes and a couple of laugh out loud moments. Comical and silly but also tedious in places.

This movie is definitive proof that anything can happen in a montage. I can even turn off the movie and abandon it forever! Seriously writers? Are you that out of touch with human behavior?

Because it takes such a daft approach to the romcom clichés Slow Learners (2015) becomes almost enjoyable in all it's cheapness.
