Small Town Girl

A curiously schizophrenic movie that feels like there were too many cooks working on this broth (much like the endlessly-rewritten and therefore misshapen movies you see all too often today). Janet Gaynor is a cutie, though

It is a predictable but fun romance with an alcoholic doctor (Robert Taylor) and a sweet girl looking to get out of small-town life (Janet Gaynor).

Another sweet Janet Gaynor romance movie. This time she gets married to Robert Taylor, a drunk rich guy who wants a divorce once he wakes up with a hangover. But the time-limit is 6 months to get one so they have to wait it out and pretend to love each other.... and you know where this is heading.... Everyone is just too kind for it to be anything more then a decent popcorn movie.
