The story is just an excuse to get as many fight scenes on the screen as possible. Fine with me! It's a decent martial arts flick that never really stands out but has a ton of battles and never really bogs down.

Early Jackie Chan starring role back before he started to add comedy to his films. There are some nice fights here while others aren't very good at all. The plot is paper thin and as others have noted it's really just an excuse for the fighting. The biggest downside to this movie is that even with Jackie it's a pretty run of the mill movie that is easily forgotten.

Starring Jackie Chan in a still serious role as the protagonist in a decent martial arts movie with a nice diverse bunch of characters and some good fights.

Different sort of flick for Jackie as he plays this one straight the entire time and is already a master from the get-go. No comedy but there are tons of fights in this and Jackie's Snake & Crane style is great.

Beginning of an era. Unpolished work.

May that stupid book just spontaneously combust already. I'm never this drastic but really, just skip to the excellent final fight.
