The chemistry and timing of Schumer and Hawn (welcome back!) carry this amiably silly comedy, which stalls somewhat at its transition from glossy holiday comedy to a surprisingly more hard edged, violent farce, but still manages to keep its grip thanks to some spirited gags elevated by its entire cast, and welcome support turns from Cusack and Sykes as a platonic (?) couple of conspiracy minded fellow travelers. Some nice throwaway gross out bits, especially the tapeworm and Hawn's warm welcome.

Schumer and surprise body horror go together a little too naturally.

There are few things that are as dead on arrival as a bad comedy, and Snatched is a pretty terrible attempt at being funny. It puts all of its eggs in the Amy Schumer basket, and she fumbles them before getting them to the car--let alone the fridge. We never get the funny jokes. We just hear the ones that good movies would put on the cutting room floor. They're all in Snatched, most of them are cringeworthy, and the film, on the whole, is an utter waste of time, talent, and money.

While far from an instant classic, SNATCHED is a perfectly watchable comedy with a meandering, easygoing charm. It possesses just the right amount of story without taking any of it too seriously, as its subplots--including a running feud with a government employee and an absurd turn from Christopher Meloni as a deluded adventurer--often outshine the main event. It also has the good sense not to overstay its welcome: drop in, get the laughs, peace out. More clinical than cinematic, but it works.

Was it silly and improbable at times? Of course. Did it make me laugh out loud with the comedic talents of Hawn, Schumer, Sykes and Cusack? You bet ya! Nuff said!

Speaking as a fan of Schumer & Trainwreck this was pretty disappointing. The first quarter has some laugh-out-loud moments, but once the kidnapping occurs the film becomes much too predictable and formulaic as it tries to make a more comedic and much sappier Romancing the Stone. The film is at its worst when it tries to tug at your heart strings (!) & deliver a Moms-are-underappreciated message or have characters learn some life lesson & grow: it feels as genuine as a Lifetime tv movie.

Unfunny and often offensive towards the characters of color. Coasting on charisma of its two leads doesn't get as far as they'd hoped, clearly.

As one of three males on planet Earth that doesn't hate Schumer with a fiery passion, there were some legitimate laughs here. That being said, its the same as many idiot fish out of water movies you've seen before, but with a female idiot.

There are things I enjoy, like a few jokes that hit pretty hard, and the chemistry between Hawn and Schumer (being real friends helps). I think without them this is a lot lesser, and I say that as a person who is hit-or-miss on Schumer. But the problem is that we have a comedy and most of it just isn't funny. I'm used to comedies hitting with an audience and not me, but I didn't even hear that many laughs in the theatre this time.

I was a defender of Trainwreck but this is all around bad. No supporting cast to really lean on and just a premise that's been done to death. NORMAL WHITE PEOPLE GET IN DANGEROUS SPOT! ACTION OVER TAKES ANY JOKES!

A melting pot of unfunny improv and equally unfunny set pieces, "Snatched" is hindered less by its leads, with both Schumer and Hawn providing genuinely serviceable turns as this mismatched mother-daughter duo, but by its complete unwillingness to make any effort to be memorable, unique, or even broadly humorous, intent on being as unmotivated, meandering, and brief as possible. Far from the worst film of the year, but perhaps the least interested in being in any way cinematic.

Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn have some touching moments as a mother and daughter trying to reconnect in a terrible situation. But I wonder whether viewers will be left thinking about their own important relationships, or simply revisiting the "shock and awe" anatomical moments that might very well steal Snatched.

It's amazing the director of this movie is worse than the writer of this movie. I'm not sure if Amy Schumer fans will find this funny, but I am not and I didn't. At all. Special mention of Ike Barinholtz with the worst character performance of the 21st century.

Forgets the humor after about 10 minutes. The biggest bit is a terrible gag with a tapeworm and the other jokes sprinkled in are sub-sketch-comedy level bits about wacky supporting characters.

altho it's very 'clumsy' (like it's a decent director who is still learning the ropes), it made me chuckle and sometimes laugh more than the average comedies do. I expected an easy, light film, I got it.

This movie starts off funny with some laughs. Unfortunately this film falls apart after the main characters get kidnapped. With a better script this could have been a good movie. Overall this movie is disappointing.

It's not clever comedy, but it's pretty enjoyable comedy with a solid cast of comedians.

It is one of those films with a few good laughs but it does not hold up as one of the best. Schumer and Hawn are funny enough but the film itself was too badly paced for the end result to be something special. Not a bad film for enjoyment sake but easily forgettable as soon as it is over.
