Soak the Rich

The comedy doesn't work. Walter Connolly is a constant professional who did his best to bring life to this, but other than him, little else was good. Most interesting about Soak the Rich (1936) was the choice of leading lady. A New York model called Mary Taylor. And she had the model face, so looked good on camera. She had a personality too, but I'm unsure if it would be considered a good one for the movies. One of the reasons her adventures in Hollywood was brief, I guess.
