On par with it's original inception Penthouse (1933), which had Warner Baxter & Myrna Loy in the important roles. This was has Walter Pidgeon & Virginia Bruce, which isn't bad either. Again the script is a solid popcorn murder mystery with a little singing and comic characters to lighten the mood. Not the most thrilling, but amusing.
