Soldiers Three

Absolutely loved this one! Great chemistry between the main three and good performances by all. I really enjoyed seeing Stewart Granger in a comedic role.

This is "how to be a British soldier" according to Hollywood. Stewart Granger, Robert Newton & Cyril Cusack are three hopeless men in uniform under the leadership of Walter Pidgeon and David Niven, and it's mostly the type of drunken madness you'd usually see in American military films, except with a crew that doesn't exactly fit the bill, even if they Brit it up! One can get a few laughs out of the silly antics, but this was hardly how I want my Granger.
