Some Velvet Morning (2013)
Fred arrives at Velvet's doorstep, suitcases in tow. He tells her that he has finally left his wife to be with her, which is news to Velvet since she has not seen him in years and is now with Fred's recently married son. As Fred's hopes crash to earth during a conversation brimming with passion, remorse, humor and anger, the twisted heart of a fascinating relationship is revealed.

Somebody gets screwed when you watch this film. But LaBute doesn't let you know it's you until afterwards. The whole effort feels like a gimmick, and a rather distasteful one at that, but you have to admit that Eve and Tucci do a great job of spinning out 80 minutes of lightweight dialogue in a single location. To their credit, I didn't get bored and turn off before the end. I do prefer a sincere film over games like this though.
