Song of Love

Not exactly a great movie, but one of Hepburn's very best performances.

This is so MGM. Find a famous historical purpose to do a biopic on, preferably someone in music. Focus on a elegant clean production. Add a few A-listers and do super safe version of their lives. It's so overly calculated, it becomes a bit of a yawn. But compare it to Träumerei (1944), which also told the story of composer Robert Schumann, it felt like a more polished experience. Very respectable work in flow with the classic music of both Brahms and Schumann.
