Adaptation of a Paola Riccora theatre piece for the screen, which features the three De Filippo siblings and a young Alda Vialli. Giovannino loses his job and is taken in by the family of his wealthy nephew. Whilst reduced to doing menial takes for the family, he is increasingly blamed for everything untoward.
