Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama
The premise for this film is extremely thin ("anorexic" would be more appropriate) -- a couple of women who want to join a sorority break into a bowling alley with three geeks who were spying on them in the shower to steal a bowling trophy. The trophy promptly falls open and a demon called "The Imp" escapes. (Groaning? I thought so.) The teens start to die. And that's it. (Graham Rae)

Quigley rules the imp drools. 80s rule of horror films the crazier the title the more disappointed you'll be when it's over.

That imp was SASSY. Wise cracking horror villains are like hecklers at an Andy Dick stand up special. Let's just sit here and watch this thing die in quiet.

Back when David DeCoteau, in between directing porn, still seemingly cared about trying to make an actual movie, was he able to manage making this disappointing "so-bad-it's-good" 80's cheese schlock. Despite a few bits here and there, this comedy/horror B-movie is best left as the bygone midnight movie basic cable fodder it was.

Works best on a juvenile brain. Once you've been around the exploitation bend though it all comes up as a rather short tease now instead. I want it to succeed every time but it never does. Linnea Quigley as another punk girl, Brinke Stevens getting spanked, moody lighting and a demon running around as The Bride of Frankenstein. Still it disappoints. Frustratingly disappoints.

I love this in a "USA Up All Night" kind of way.

The imp was an asshole. The rest of the movie was typical horror monkey's paw fare, with the usual '80s nerds and sorority characters. Enjoyable for Linnea Quigley who stood out as a bright exception over the rest of the cast with her cute punk badass. It's more fun than gory and I was never too afraid of the two sorority zombies. Fav scene: everyone making cracks at the fat guy, the nerdy kids warns everyone about the obvious monkey's paw, and the fat guy uses his wish on fucking gold bars.

Trash, but still competent. Better than Transformers 2, that's for damn sure.

Liked it, but I feel let down slightly, this could have been a trash classic but it just doesn't quite all come together.

Pretty good for a Full Moon Picture. Maybe that's the only standard by which it's pretty good but still.

For a movie with this title, & this premise, directed by the guy who made Nightmare Sisters, this is much more entertaining than it has any right to be. The cast is enjoyable, with decent acting from most, & though Quigley's performance is seriously awful in the beginning it does get better by the end. Lots of gratuitous nudity, but it's not overwhelming, & the horror/comedy elements are put first. It never reaches its full potential, but it does have fun moments. Honestly worth a watch.

A movie with this title sounds like fun. I didn't have any. It's not even bad in an appreciable "so bad it's funny" kind of way
