Soul Survivors

This is where the Wilson craze began. And, looking back on it, it still makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Still, if Luke can progress as much in the next 18 years as he has done in the last 18 years, we're calling it early - he'll probably win an Oscar for best supporting actor in 2038. (Or maybe not!) But you heard it here first.

Soul Survivors is not in any way, shape, or form worth your time. The main problem it has is that it never amounts to anything; almost all of its scares are harmless hallucinations, and once you figure that out -- which you will after about the first one -- you'll struggle to see anything that is worth seeing. It's not scary or thrilling. Its actors aren't particularly good, and the film struggles at almost all times to be anything even close to relevant for its audience.

My soul did not survive watching this.

Quite enjoyable thriller which is filmed fine melding fantasy and reality. Dushku is really good and Sagemiller is alright. A good and fitting soundtrack keep things moving along and get you in the mood.

Really boring, without an interesting plot, bad pacing and much repetition. 5 points for Bentley, cause he's so handsoohm

First contender for my worst watch of 2022. Yikes. This is just so incredibly, impressively incompetent in every single way. The writing is awful, the plot is nonsense, none of the side characters are remotely likeable nor do any of them feel like actual people. Why is Luke Wilson here? I feel so bad for Melissa Sagemiller. How do you manage to waste a cast full of talent to this extent? How do you manage to screw up a solid premise this bad? It's just so. Damn. Bad.
