Sour Grapes

Interesting enough if you have any investment in rich people getting swindled. It somehow feels off on making a case for Rudy being some genius when part of the accusation is him bottling years that didn't exist etc.Still, it has interesting douchebags and even a Koch brother.

One of the best docs I've seen in a while (though I'm a sucker for any that include a ton of raw footage shot for a different purpose). The thought to interview Rudy's defense attorney and still-friends added depth where many other directors would have stopped.

A pretty fun little documentary, but also the "victims" are more hateable than the conman. I mean, are we supposed to do anything other than cheer when Bill Koch tells us he's lost $4 million to fraud? Also, I am really curious about whether Rudy was just a complete fraud or if he was some kind of wine savant.

A documentary with an interesting subject, it is especially interesting to see how people still have so much trust in a pathological liar and sociopath. Very interesting subject matter from somewhere you don't expect.

I just want that fuck you money.
