First off, Spasmo is an extremely enjoyable and fun giallo filled with plenty of suspense and mystery. It's easy to follow but you're never quite sure WHY anything is happening. The ending wraps everything up perfectly but will leave you wanting to watch it again. Very similar to a well-loved recent thriller (telling you which one would spoil the ending).

Typical Lenzi - heavy handed, badly paced, indifferently acted, and handled with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer.

A giallo that did a very good job in keeping me guessing about what's actually happening and in how far I could trust the perception of its protagonist. It has a great score by Ennio Morricone.
