One of my favourite reviewers on criticker makes a scene out of a Hal Hartley film from 1997. Dense with references, but in a way that isn't too smarmy because it's actually funny and charming. In 15 years and Jake has made a few features the contrarian take will be this is his best work. Glad to be there from the start! It's only 5 minutes long so check it out!
