Spinning Plates

There is a compassion and wonder that comes across in the telling of each of these stories. Compassion for the struggles each of these groups have in continuing with their restaurants and wonder at the ways they bring their food to table. While each group has different strengths, the unifying factor comes in what restaurants offer: comfort and exposure. To gather at the table is to be made vulnerable before others, but also to find connection as well. Could use a more imaginatve structure.

Sort of interesting, has some annoying people, but also sometimes a bit touching. Liked the Mexicans the most

Not the best documentary but the stories are for the most part compelling. Soft spot and bonus points for the Iowa story.
