I thought Alan Ruck was a real actor, what is he doing hanging out with these Trek has beens? The effects are nice but in the end this, and any of these stupid fanfic shows (I'm looking at you, New Voyages) do far more damage to the brand than Brannon and Braga ever did, something I never thought possible.

Not bad for a fanfilm. It could be that only Star Trek fans will enjoy this, since it's studded with characters from and references to the various Trek movies and television shows, and I doubt if anyone new to the mythos will even understand what's going on. Better FX than the makers of the original series ever dreamed of having, yet the just plain ol' acting and dialogue scenes are rough-hewn, and edited rather amateurishly

Could not hear the mumbling of Alan Ruck.
