This is an amazing manifestation of Star Wars as a piece of human culture

It does nothing to alter my opinion that fan remakes are artless appeals to nostalgia for the sake of fleeting youtube notoriety, but the project itself surely deserves a 5/10 for patience and ambition.

Amazing. A triumph. Hilarious, earnest, affecting. This is a great piece of art, even if the movie itself is just a shot-for-shot remake of some 70s sci-fi Saturday morning trash.

I saw this at the world premiere in the cinema a couple years back. It was an amazing experience. Granted: as a movie it's head ache inducing to the point that you head implodes and you wonder where you are. But if you're in a theater it'll be great fun. If you're watching at home on you laptop, not so much I guess.
