I don't know how widely I could recommend Steak to people, but I was laughing hysterically all throughout like a damn fool. A bit more straightforward than some of Dupieux's other work and a little less refined when it comes to the film craft but full of energy and such a great sense of fun. The main performances are appropriately over the top and a joy to watch. I don't think there's any deeper meaning or social commentary at play, but it's funny as fuck from my deranged point of view.
