Bordering on excruciatingly dull, this installment is, surprisingly, no worse than the first one. Both of them still stand as only valuable for people curious about what Terry O'Quinn looked like twenty years before "Lost"...or you could just Google him, that'd be about an hour and a half quicker. It's kinda silly you were thinking about watching this just to see young Terry O'Quinn anyway. Sometimes I wonder why we're friends.

Any of the charisma the first film had is lost here.

The fun of these movies is watching Terry O'Quinn at work.

A sad, pale imitation of the first movie. This is a sequel I don't think anyone asked for. Disappointed!

It's not as bad as it could've been, almost entirely thanks to Terry O'Quinn giving another fabulous performance in the lead & the effortless charm of Caroline Williams in a very fun supporting role. Still, it's...not great. The pacing is clunky, especially during the third act, & the main "heroine" is a flat nothing character who's hard to care about. There's gaping logic holes everywhere, & they aren't covered well enough to forgive. As far as sequels go there's worse, but overall it's meh.

A footnote to the first movie, but has the same actor and basically the same tone and is only slightly more nonsensical, so you may find it tolerable if you were okay with the first movie.

Though the first outing for Terry O'Quinn had a similar taste, this sequel is full Hallmark Channel thriller. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, but all the legwork to make this character a creepy-adult-boyscout is taken for granted as he essentially played as a prototypical slasher here.
