Stewart Lee: Stand-Up Comedian

Another masterful display of timing.

Marks the start in a change of style by Lee from his "Fist of Fun" days to the most consistantly brilliant (along with Daniel Kitson) stand-up in Britain today. This is an absolute masterclass. Just hilarious.

Stewart Lee may well be my favourite British comedian. Here, he's not as meta-referencing and self-reflexive as he would later become, but while the material is more standard in form, the content is absolutely of fantastically high quality.
