Stolen

Worth a watch

Stolen is worse than a 30-minute crime drama on television. It feels like it uses a couple of rejected scripts from Law & Order or something, and then tried to tie them together hoping that the audience would just go along with the fact that they're not really linked, and they're not really interesting. This is a film that never should have left pre-production. Good filmmaking does a lot with very little, while bad filmmaking will alert you to how bad it is without a hint of irony.

They squander their better actors with a bad script and endless useless flashbacks. It is like they put together the sad backstory of some investigation tv show and made a whole movie of it instead of an episode

This one oozes made-for-tv all over the place, and the only redeeming aspects are a few good actors.

Solid if forgettable little thriller. Hamm is no lead but Lucas is much better and his parts of the movie are pretty watchable.
