A miserable pair of a thief and a prostitute has a chance meeting and decide to hitch-up for a short moment of bliss. Not exactly a sunshine story that joins Nancy Carroll & Phillips Holmes a year before they'd reappear together in Ernst Lubitsch's fascinating post-war dilemma, Broken Lullaby (1932). They go through a emotional roller-coaster of happiness and worries for the future when the love grows between them. Didn't reach a emotional climax, but overall it's a beautiful little romance.
