The mystery of what happened to Dow Mossman is extremely intriguing, the guy just dropped off the face of the earth. It's very obvious that Moskowitz is very emotionally involved in his quest, and even though he seriosuly considers giving up, he persists, which is very motivating. The only faults of this movie come from the fact that Moskowitz is a first time director, and that initially it wasn't even intended to be a movie. Also, he could be a bit of a dick to some people.
