Stop-Zemlia

I complain about romantic films meandering but would give tons of leeway to coming of age films doing the same thing. I think the difference is heart. Here, I could hang out with these kids all day. None of them are too mean spirited (except for some spontaneous bullying) and nobody is too dramatic. I like that Fedorchenko's Masha isn't played into American movie stereotypes. Ukranian high school gym class needs more variety. Fav scene: bonding with the mom on the kitchen floor.
