Average. The subject here is one that has not been broached effectively in the past and the rather week female lead leaves much to be desired here as well. A Serbian war criminal gets away due to the Hague's red tape. It was told in a way too dry fashion for my taste. You might definitely like it. Recommended.

A sad disappointment after the emotionally powerful Requiem (2006) from the same director. Not only does it distance the viewer from a very serious subject, but there is little difference between this and a pulpy courtroom drama with a good vs. very evil story aside from the attempt to make it a politically intelligent film with moral ambiguity. Watch something like the 2007 film The Heartbeat Detector for a film which makes a dark subject still relevant and real for the viewer.

A decent court room thriller that really only suffers from being a little too slow and about 15 minutes too long.
