Remake of The Crime of Doctor Hallet (1938), which was a minor B-picture with very little star power. This 1950 pretty much follows that same principle, with Jane Wyatt being the name surrounded by solid not-so-big actors for a jungle science soap opera. Not a super film, but it works fine for those wanting a more serious B-experience.
