A quality little small town movie with Charles 'Chic' Sale! He's the postal master and runs the local grocery store. But then comes the evil corporations opening up a grocery store to compete with him! And the heat is on! Sale steals the show. Few can do the 'old man' shtick like he can! He gets decent help from Ann Dvorak as his granddaughter caught between him and her lover who is sent to run the rival store. And Noah Beery as his local rival who does all he can to help the new store.
