Strapped

Ben Bonenfant effortlessly and expertly plays a male prostitute who learns to be gay by first trying on for size all the types and tropes of the beloved. In the process, this film stylishly and comically interrogates identity in the Foucaultian sense. Yeah, it's a tad pretentious but I didn't mind at all. It's also touching and intriguing -- at least until the final 5 minutes.
