Stripes

Has some funny scenes but it hasn’t aged particularly well and I feel like it could have easily cut out 20 minutes of the runtime.

I expected better

Excellent flick. Bill Murray leads a hilarious cast on an awesome journey of tomfoolery.

The first half of this movie is on par with everything else Murray did in this era, and Ramis is great in the sidekick role. It's all downhill once they leave the camp, though.

A great film, until he joins the army... oddly.

I would love to hang around aimlessly with Murray and Ramis. Such likeable slackers. However, I found most of the secondary characters unfunny and boring, and it was hard to get over the sloppy 3rd act shenanigans in Europe. Also I lack a crucial part of the Stripes-experience: it was not a part of my childhood and growing up.
