Stryker

Piece of shit Mad Max ripoff. They obviously had a bit of a budget, since they had real tanks and an actual Interceptor just like Mad Max's but they must've spent all their money there. The story is about finding a new fresh water source in the aftermath of a nuclear holocaust, but really it's just 90 minutes of bad actors staggering about a gravel pit shooting at each other. I had to go back and rewatch several parts because I could barely stay awake during this snooze-fest.

Mixing Mad Max, Star Wars, hot-pant wearing Amazon-nymph archers from a fantasy film, gimps and a surprisingly big vehicle budget, this post-apocalypse genre film should be praised for taking these random aspects and creating a cohesive and distinct world from them. Sadly however the creators of the film were content to coast in terms of quality for every other aspect, leaving a film with a distinct veneer but completely tedious to sit through in the centre of it (ie. boring as sin).

Really bad post-apocalyptic / Mad Max rip-off. The beginning is promising as the budget seems to be slightly bigger than usual - at least they could afford some vehicles and tanks, and the pace is quick. Too bad that the characters are really bland, actors really bad and story nonexistent. What's worse: it's not bad enough to become good.
