At some point in this movie, for about 15 minutes, there is a submarine, and I'm estimating that this submarine was submerged for at least 5 minutes. So... Yeah...

Submerged is one of many awful Steven Seagal films that was released straight to DVD. The initial idea interested me enough to give the film a chance. I foolishly hoped Submerged would resemble the great Under Siege from Seagal's former glory days. How wrong I was. I have no idea why I put myself through these appalling straight to DVD films. I guess I just hope that one will be a nostalgic gem that resembles the earlier enjoyable Seagal films. I have since however lost patience.

A terrible uneven combination of 'The Manchurian Candidate', a U-boat thriller and your average crappy ponytailed action movie. Yet it's surprisingly entertaining and the direction is better than most other films at this point in Seagal's career.
