A romantic comedy with absolutely no comedy in it at all. The music is probably the worst I've ever heard in a film before and this is coming from someone who has seen Spice World. This is probably SMG's best performance but she was still soooooo incredibly bad. Baldwin earned all 10 points himself.

No this doesn't really work. It is a little too fluffy for me. I think they should have probably just stuck to the book. Wow Gellar's demand has really come down a bit since Cruel Intentions huh.

Story slow, unmoving, bad acting and directing. What do you want more?

Just didn't get me going. I got 10 minutes into the film and saw nothing of merit.

Not terrible, but not very good. Too many weird plot lines. There were some that were touched on but seemed kind of like filler. Like the bitchy boss--had no real impact on the story. Also, some things just seem very disconnected. The ending was unsatisfying. The old boyfriend (the one who was in Europe) thing seemed a little pointless too. These were things that the writers just didn't develop enough.

Suburban Girl is a sweet movie with a lack of conflict and humor, making it incredibly boring for anyone who doesn't need it to comfort them and tuck them in at night. Perhaps there are people who can watch something like this every night before bed, knowing that it'll somehow remind them the world can be a good place. Most of us would put it on if we felt a bout of insomnia coming on and wanted to preempt it. It would do the trick.

Top badass moment? Seeing two Ani DiFranco albums on Buffy’s bed; a singer/songwriter and brilliant lyricist. It gives me hope, when a slightly rotund 50-year-old Alec Baldwin can get off with Buffy. Then again, it is a work of fiction and he is the world’s best actor. A few times this film does briefly become what it wants to be, but mostly it just takes a vaguely enjoyable trip nowhere, introducing us to several good characters who then doing nothing. No cats, chainsaws or decapitations.
