Suddenly Seventeen

This movie really rubbed me the wrong way. I liked both Liang and little Liang and disliked her boyfriend whose name I didn't even bother to remember but here's the thing, She eats chocolate to become mentally youth, fearless, creative, and vibrant and when it wears off she is even more fragile than before, then she starts to need the power of the chocolates even more. That sounds like someone getting into drugs. Of course, the is the obligatory revelation and consequence-free resolution.
