Sun Ra: A Joyful Noise

A recollection of live performances by Sun Ra & his Arkestra, an avant-garde free jazz band whose pianist leader believed he was a spiritual, outer-space being who would bring peace to the world with his music. Along with the performances we also get to see interviews with members of the band and monologues by Sun Ra himself, preaching his philosophy.
