Monogram keeps upgrading. I'm finding myself saying "can't believe Monogram made a movie this good" more and more often. And this was a fine down at the Bowery costume piece. Gale Storm was adorable and George Cleveland playing her father was the Irish heart of this light musical of class and spirit. They even had Alan Mowbray smoothing the experience. Give it a shot. Might surprise you too.
