Eleanor Roosevelt signed off on this adaptation so I assume it's fairly accurate. I had no idea the Roosevelts had such a pompous speech pattern. It was annoying to listen to them. Also strange to think about FDR's overcoming polio ended up being overshadowed by his later accomplishments. I liked the role of Hume Cronyn's Louis Howe. Fav scene: going to the Al Smith nomination and folks just adoring him backstage.
