The most boring doc ever made, about an extreme sport no less! How can that be I hear you ask, it's because Carl Boenish was a Christian radical dipshit, that's why.

Well, I learned something from it, but it was mainly that either his wife had a lot of balls, or she was a complete nutter. I suspect the latter. The only really great bit of this film is the last three minutes, which really IS breathtaking; something I would do if I had about 100 times the guts I have sitting writing about stuff on my computer. Nothing to do the Boenish at all, but that is what MAKES it great. That said, I learned stuff, so that it always a good thing.

The summary calls this a "heart-racing documentary" and it really could've been had the director not decided that what's interesting about BASE jumping is not watching people leap off buildings and cliffs no no what's interesting is watching people talk about how exciting it was - every damn time you think you're going to see a POV shot of someone plummeting to earth it cuts away to someone talking about what a thrill it was, maybe it was a thrill but what's not heart-racing is hearing about it
