Superbob

I had trouble getting into the first 1/2 or even 2/3. I liked the awkwardness of losers with powers in the What we do in the Shadows movie, but Superbob as a character is just so hard to care about for a long while, and there isn't much to temper his boring personality

Satirical superhero Superbob is a mixed bag. Stylistically simple, the film doesn't over-reach, relying on distinctly British awkward humour. Unfortunately, it never really gains enough momentum to be engrossing. Tena is good in it though.

A down to earth superhero comedy, where the right to love and days off saving the world becomes SuperBob (2015) main frustration. Simply a nice, harmless and slightly forgettable affair.
