Michelle Yeoh's cop character from Jackie Chan's Supercop (aka Police Story 3) gets her very own sequel (which kinda makes this Police Story 4, but it isn't), in which she helps investigate some robberies in Hong Kong that turn out to have been committed by her boyfriend. Pretty ridiculous plot, and there's too many repetitive machine gun fights, but the final robbery sequence is great with plenty o' kung fu and you get to see Jackie Chan fighting in drag in a brief cameo.

Heaven knows I wanted to see another Jessica Yang movie after _Police Story III: Supercop_, but I wanted a better one than this. Be advised, everyone, that Jackie Chan only has a cameo in this one. His charisma is sorely missed through the rest of this film -- not to say, of course, that Michelle Yeoh is chopped liver
