Entertaining team-up adventure for the titular duo moves briskly enough that you can forgive some intriguing story threads not exploited as well as they could be (“President Luthor”, Superman and Batman forced into exile); the writers should still be commended for synthesising the material into a fun and coherent little actioner. Excellent voice cast brings a weight and gravitas to these characters; Conroy remains the only true animated Batman.

Top badass moment? Seeing Superman get the crap kicked out of him again. This film introduces us to loads of Austin Allegro level superheroes. Silver Banshee? Nags opponents to death. Power Girl? A bimbo with abilities such as fluttering her eyes and showing off her breast implants. Major Force? Try major tool. Captain Marvel? So good they named him twice. Plotwise, Superman desecrates a graveyard, whilst Batman rescues him and saves the Earth. 1 custom built chainsaw, no cats or decapitations.

This is not good as its comic book story but still a great product. Friendship is the main key. No idea why I watched this as I'm clearly not the target demographic. 60 mins of no-name cartoon characters (except for Superman and Batman, obviously) punching each other. I'm sure people who are really into comics could name every character, but for me it was like standing in an arcade watching 2 people play one of those Marvel vs Capcom beat 'em ups.

Another great DC animated film, with the voices from the Batman animated series and the Justice League cartoon. Lex Luthor becomes president, and Superman and Batman have to save the earth. The story is good, and has cool cameos by characters like Power Girl and captain Marvel.

A decent movie that has great action but cuts out its source material's substance and character definition, leaving the experience fulfilling only on a superficial level. Reuniting the old animated series voice actors is greatly appreciated, however, and their presence lends the dialogue an energy it might otherwise lack.

Once you get use to some of the old school anime designs it all seems to work well enough. There's a nice sprinkling of characters and the plot itself at least tries. Great music too.
