Sweet Dreams

Standard, but endearing biopic with excellent acting by Lange and Harris. I felt the details of their conflictual relationship were not very well studied, it came a bit out of the blue for me, as if we're supposed to have the precognition that female country singers are always getting beat up by their husbands. Ed Harris with hair is quite a hunk, i forgot this after seeing him bald for the past decades. Cline's voice is insane, but would have liked to know more about how the songs were composed

Solid biopic, a must-see for the Cline fan (as I am). Sparkling performances by Harris and Lange. Simple and somewhat onedimensional story, effectively told. Cline’s voice is virtuose of course, every song is a feast to the ear, I love her!

Langes portrayal of the indomitable hugely talented Patsy Cline is one for posterity. Tragic in her portrayal , she is awesome!

Following in the footsteps of Coalminer's Daughter, we get Jessica Lange starring as country chanteuse Patsy Cline. While Cline's career and life are worthy of a good biopic, this film just never seems to click. Part of the reason could be that Lange has to be one of the worst lip-synchers in cinematic history.
